memo board

This Kaiser memo board is another creation by Nicole (nikko)....I think nearly all of our off the page creation and done by nicole!...it was made to match the birdhouse clock...(below)

inspired bird house

the kaiser bird house has been made up by yet another one of our talented regulars at Caught the Bug... nicole (nikko)...if I can edit I will add her blogspot so you can check out her other works...

once again I have had to take a few photo's due to the time of day we were getting a bit of a shadow...nicole has turned her inspired birdhouse into a clock...

theres no shadow on this one...the little plaque would normally hang of course...nicoles bird house was in Kaisercrafts newsletter a short while ago...did you see it??

kaiser christmas wreath

I have taken a few different shots of the wreath...it was getting late in the afternoon and I wanted to be able to show off the colours in the best way possible....

this wreath was made by Jenny a regular to Caught the Bug!!...Jenny has used the new kaiser christmas paper and followed the instructions from the new Q2 kaiser magazine!

thanks for sharing Jenny!

christmas tree

I have used foam cones as the base and a chinese stick through the centre to hold it upright.

I have tried to bring in the different elements of scrapbooking by using ribbons, flowers, pattern paper, pearls and brads. I have topped off the tree using the kaiser wooden embellishments adding rhinestones and dimensional magic over the top....bottom rows are red and green ribbon
hello....my name is zennia and its been 20 days since my last blog!

I can't believe how quickly time has passed!...I have enoyed a week off work. spent with my kids during the school holidays, doing lots of nothing. we went to the movies...twice, did cooking and played plenty of cricket.

first week back to work was flat out...I did at least 56 hours and still don't think I was any further ahead of myself!!

I have some more christmas and other off the page projects to post....enjoy

A Page I have actually scrapped!!!

This page I have scraplifted!!!...What did you expect??...I haven't actually scrapped a page that wasn't a class since June...so I needed a little help...scrapbooking memories vol 11 no 8, page 37. The layout design is by Hetty Hall...I just loved it!!

I haven't changed it a real lot as I said I loved it the way it was!!!...excellent page Hetty.

I have used embossed bazzil cardstock, bella! Sarah Jane collection pattern papers, making memories flowers (they are 3D I cant remember their name), the butterflies are cut out with the cuttlebug and embossed.

This photo was taken of Tania and I at the Q1 Kaiser launch...these two lovley ladies in the middle are Nikki Antonello and Christine Rumley, they are apart of Kaisers new design team.

Yes I know a photo taken at the Kaiser launch and I have used Bella! pattern paper!!...Shhh!

Margaret's page of Milla

Margaret did this page at Midnight Madness (Saturday 19th). I can't believe she (Milla that is) is 7 weeks old already. Margaret has used the new Abby Road range from my minds eye....these papers are beautiful, just perfect for the beautiful picture...I am allowed to say this!!!! hehe

Christmas Bauble

This Christmas Bauble was inspired by yet another Kaiser creation...In their Q2 magazine which is due out October 1st, (for some a little earlier) they had three baubles made up with the Kaiser pearls....further into the magazine (and I can't quote page numbers as I left the mag at work)...they have done a bauble with gold and silver brads...I have done a combination of both.
I have used a foam ball, painted it green. I started with the Kaiser green pearls and half way up the ball I decided I needed to look for something that would fill up space...thus the christmas ribbon. I wanted to go for something different for the top and after many circuits of the shop decided on the gold brads...I thought I was so clever until I stumbled upon the bauble with gold and silver brads in the magazine...Hmmm...wasn't my idea after all!.
I think that these would make a special gift to give to someone, your children, grandchildren etc to hang on their tree.

second shoe

For this shoe I have used Kaiser Ukon pattern paper, well the back to it. (Sakura Park). I have torn the paper into small peices and modge podge it to the shoe. I have used a Hambly rub-on up the side with kaiser black rhinestones (of course). I have ruffled tule, folded a large black flower (FTI) in half layered a white and red the white flower (kaiser) then using the matching Sakura Park epoxy brad for the centre.
I hope there is not too much of a glare on these pics and I don't know how to get writing under each photo without making them separate posts???...I will work on it!!!

Here is a close up of the rhinestone shoe. I brought this pair of shoes from the second hand shop. I painted them red (obviously) and the inside and sole black. painting them black just made the shoe look clean and fresh as they were originally cream. I painted over the paint with

modge podge and used a mixture of the large to small rhinestones....I should have used a bit of pritt glue on the rhinestones as they are always falling off and not necessarily being put back in the right spot...thus the gaps!!

Ruby red shoes

My shoes were inspired by a pair of beautiful rhinestone shoes in the Kaiser Craft Magazine Quarter1 (first edition)...Page 138. I am not sure who made these BUT I loved them. I also got a chance to see them first hand...at the Kaiser outlet in Geelong Victoria. As you can see only one was Bling!... I couldn't do that twice...LOL...so the other shoe is my idea.
